Rolled steel angle – equal is normally called an “angle”, “equal angle” or “L-shape”.

The two legs are always the same size hence ‘equal’ and described when giving measurements by depth, width and thickness of wall;

 

Using the first measurement on the chart as an example; 

• ‘20 x 20 x 3 RSA 

• 20 mm = depth (height)

• 20 mm = width

• 3 = wall thickness
